I am delighted to present to you the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra's 2009-2010 concert season. We are excited about the depth and breadth of programming in store for you.
The Syracuse Symphony Orchestra is an incredibly versatile orchestra. It comprises a terrific group of musicians who can play anything from Beethoven to Broadway to jazz, and everything in-between. They, along with our management team, work very diligently to pull together some of the finest concerts you'll experience anywhere!
On a personal note, I am thrilled to be celebrating my tenth season with the SSO. I have experienced tremendous joy and satisfaction during the past decade in helping bring the gift of music to the Central New York community.
If you've subscribed to any of these series in the past, we really hope you choose to renew. We know these are challenging times for our patrons and therefore we have not raised ticket prices. And if you are new to the SSO, please consider some of our introductory offers, all of which provide a great value.
I know that after you attend a concert you'll want to come back for more. There is nothing like hearing live music — an entire orchestra working together in the moment to recreate a work of art.
