Vladimir Pritzker

Vladimir Pritzker left his native Kharkov, Ukraine in 1988, and the following year became a member of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra. He has since been featured as a soloist with the SSO twice--during the 1991-1992 and 1993-1994 seasons.
After attending a music school for gifted children in the Ukraine, he studied at the Kharkov Institute of Arts with Adolf Leschinsky, a protege of acclaimed musician and teacher, Carl Flesh. Mr. Pritzker has also served as Associate Concertmaster of the Kharkov Philharmonic.
Since coming to Syracuse, Mr. Pritzker has performed with Skaneateles Festival, Civic Morning Musicals and Glimmerglass Opera, and has given recitals in Rome, Italy and Toronto, Canada. He has performed and recorded with Society for New Music, and is a member of the Clinton String Quartet.
Mr. Pritzker enjoys fishing and collecting cacti.
