Residence: Syracuse, NY
Education: Bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, University of Oregon; master's degree from Ithaca College.
Earliest musical memory: Practicing for my Suzuki violin lessons with my Mom.
Most influential teachers: Burton Kaplan, Susan Waterbury, Sandy Reuning, Fritz Gerhart, Pamela Gerhart, Roberta Crawford and Kathy Terentelli.
Favorite musical works: The Bach Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin, and anything by Brahms.
Favorite aspect of the performance experience: Being immersed in all the different colors that a symphony orchestra produces.
Favorite part of being a member of the SSO: I feel so fortunate to be able to make my living doing something I love.
When I'm not onstage, you might find me: Spending time with my family, running, baking chocolate chip banana bread, or watching TV.
My favorite thing about Central New York is: The Finger Lakes.
More about me: I appreciate your support of our Symphony and hope you continue to attend concerts. Concerts are much more fulfilling when the Civic Center is full of appreciative listeners.
