Earliest musical memory: Peeking through the door of my grandfather's studio and watching him give lessons.
Most influential teacher: My grandfather, Myron Mayer
Favorite composer/musical period/musical work: Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet and anything by Brahms.
Favorite aspect of the performance experience: Every performance is different than the last, unlike listening to a CD.
Favorite part of being a member of the SSO: The variety of music we perform, and the many audiences we perform for.
When I'm not onstage, you might find me: Waterskiing or gardening.
My favorite thing about Central New York is: The four beautiful seasons we have here.
