The SSO needs you! Volunteer opportunities at the SSO include joining the Syracuse Symphony Association, working behind the scenes in the SSO office, and helping out with the annual season ticket drive.

Syracuse Symphony Association
The Syracuse Symphony Association is dedicated to promoting and advancing the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra through its fundraising, public relations and education programs. The Association produces several of the community's most anticipated annual events, including the Grand Opening Night Gala, and provides volunteer support for a variety of SSO projects, including Symphony Kids and Young Persons' Concerts. In addition, the Association operates a gift shop boutique located on the lower level of the Crouse-Hinds Concert Theater, holds several luncheons throughout the year, and organizes a Practice Marathon for young students of music.

Joining the SSA as a member also comes with benefits: invitations to all Association events, discounts in the Boutique and for luncheons, and a subscription to Upbeat (the SSA's newsletter). And your $20 membership dues are even tax deductible.

Additional Opportunities
The SSO needs volunteers to help in a variety of behind-the-scenes capacities, such as assisting with the annual season ticket drive, archiving Orchestra materials, office filing and mailings, ushering at Education Concerts, among other administrative functions. If you have special talents and would be willing to share your time with us, please call  (315) 424-8222.
